When the glasses strobe or blink the brain must work faster to capture info before the lenses go opaque again.

In as little as 5 minutes of doing your sport-specific drills and removing the glasses an athlete will notice the game ‘slow down’.

In reality your brain has learned to work faster which makes objects seem slower.

You have just improved your reaction time.

Try to train 3x per week for as little as 5 minutes or more.

Great for practice or pregame training.

The faster you process info the sooner you can move.

IMPROVE BALANCE

When you take away visual info from the brain you learn to ‘feel’ more through your muscles & nerves.

Elite athletes have great balance & body awareness.

This is probably the hardest athletic skill to learn.

Great balance allows an athlete to identify & make adjustments during practice or competition.

Doing sport specific drills with the Strobe Sport glasses at higher levels promotes balance and feel.

Hitters feel the swing.  QB’s feel drop steps. Golfers feel chips & putts. Shooters feel hand & gun position.

REDUCE PERFORMANCE ANXIETY

Performance anxiety is a loss of focus that allows irrelevant info to be processed.

It could be having self-doubt, thinking of mechanics, bad call by an official, foul or penalty you just made, listening to the crowd, fear of failure, missing a putt, etc.

Performance anxiety & focus are linked together.

Great athletes, in the moment, have a laser focus that captures only relevant info.

When you capture the best, most important info & ignore ‘the noise’ you make better decisions & allows the brain to move the body successfully.

When you allow irrelevant info to be processed, it takes longer, which worsens reaction time.

Irrelevant info dilutes the good info & creates more inconsistent play.

Training in the ‘chaos’ with the Strobe Sport glasses MAKES the brain learn to succeed with less info.

After training with the glasses an athlete will feel much calmer & focused.

Think of how a rookie approaches a moment in competition versus how a veteran does.

The veteran has had many more moments of ‘chaos’ in competition and knows how to navigate them.

The more you train in the ‘chaos’ the easier it is to perform successfully in it.

FOUR TRAINING MODES

Challenge your brain with four training modes: dual eye, left eye only, right eye only, or alternating eyes. Single eye training can make big improvements in your performance. Your non-dominant eye gives the brain late info or incomplete info or incorrect info. When your brain processes inferior info it is difficult to move the body in a position for success.

When you train in the non-dominant eye mode the eye ‘wakes up’ and learns to give the brain better info. 

Receivers may be better catching passes on one side of their body than the other. Hitters may have a ‘blind spot’ in their strike zone. Single eye training will improve eye balance & MAKE the non-dominant eye work better. See your performance improve when your brain gets better info faster.

MULTIPLE OCCLUSION LEVELS

The Strobe Sport glasses have multiple levels of occlusion in which to train.

An occlusion is when lenses go opaque and visual info is blocked.

Once you are successful with a drill increase the difficulty by increasing the level of occlusion.

Think of it like adding additional weight to something you are going to lift.

The longer occlusion puts more resistance on the brain.

Your brain will find a way to succeed when challenged.

Remember earlier that I said your brain is lazy.

Exercise it.  Challenge it. It will learn to work faster & more efficiently.
